Meet the Team
Since its establishment in 1980 Canterbury Clocks and Watches has developed a reputation for being one of Australia’s foremost horological centres.
Canterbury Clocks and Watches maintain a philosophy of performing all restoration work in a manner sympathetic to the originality of the clock or watch. In their superbly equipped workshop, they can undertake the most challenging restoration or repair to the highest standard. Their clock and watchmakers possess between them a combined experience of over 60 years in the horological trade.
Versailles Fine Furniture is one of a small group of artisans who continue the craft in the time-honoured traditional way, handcrafting timber into superb furniture.
Versailles Fine Furniture creations are one off pieces that grace the homes of some of Melbourne’s famous names. They like to work with antique reproductions and the loving restoration of period furniture which is often received by Australia’s leading antique dealers.
Their handcrafted furniture is an excellent investment. As the beautiful timbers become rare in the future and the costs of labour rise, to say nothing of the disappearing skills of the craft, the once off, individually designed and hand crafted piece is guaranteed to appreciate in future years.
All of their furniture is designed and made in Melbourne Australia.
